  • How much time does it take to move to Takeprofit’s plugins?

    To start using plugins, you should install and configure them. We always configure plugins ourselves to make sure that everything works properly. Usually it takes between 2 and 4 hours on the weekend.

  • Is some special knowledge necessary for plugin configuration?

    You don’t have to be an IT specialist. All of the configuration is made via a graphic interface.

  • What if the plugin is not compatible with plugins of other providers?

    Plugins check their compatibility with the MT4 configuration automatically. In some cases a plugin can solve a problem itself. In other cases we fix it free of charge.

  • What should I do if a plugin corrupts the database or MT4 configurations?

    Plugins create backup copies of configurations and work only with ones they need. The database and configurations of other MT4 parts are not changed.

  • How often do updates come?

    We are constantly improving our products. New updates are released once or twice a month.

  • How are plugins tested before a release?

    We have automated tests for each plugin. Before a release we check how plugins work for many times both, in standard and extreme situations.

    This is unlikely. However, in the rare case that it does take place, our built-in system of error tracking, will notify us about this immediately and we will be able to fix it in a short time.

  • What if a plugin slows the MT4 down?

    We use C++ for our plugins. That is why they work faster than their counterparts.

  • How do you provide security for your plugins?

    We scrupulously adhere to official MetaQuotes development documentation. All of our plugins go through several levels of testing.
